The Psychiatric Nurse works closely with the psychiatrist and APRNs in the management of severely mentally ill and substance use clients. The Psychiatric Nurse is responsible for administering prescribed injections, assisting the psychiatrist/APRN in responding to medication calls, and taking the lead role in infection control within the clinics and residential settings.
