Assessment Survey conducted by Pennyroyal Center, the number one concern
among those polled in our eight county region was Substance Abuse. Respondents
cited the need for substance abuse treatment, but those undergoing treatment
also called for increased prevention efforts especially for children and
adolescents. |

| Because of this, Pennyroyal Center
has stepped up efforts to increase treatment for those suffering with substance
abuse addiction. We have also stepped up our prevention programs through
the Regional Prevention Center. |
