Intensive Outpatient Services

Intensive Outpatient Treatment / Drug Court is a program set up in a 3-phase format. The first phase is 8-weeks long and the client is expected to attend 3 two-hour group sessions and a one-hour individual session each week.
Phase 2 is a 24-week program in which the client attends 2 two-hour groups and a one-hour individual session each week.
Phase 3 is 24-weeks and the client is expected to attend one 1-hour group session and a one-hour individual session each week.
This program is set up to meet the specific needs of the Drug Court Programs currently operating in Christian and Muhlenberg Counties. Phase 1 can operate as an IOP seperately for clients outside the courts who are in need of an intensive treatment formate, but have not yet met the need for residential treatment (i.e. are able to maintain sobriety for periods of time, have a supportive home environment, are not in need of medical detox).
We also offer intensive outpatient services for adolescents. We currently have an Intensive Outpatient/Drug Court Program operating in Christian County. This program is set up much like the adult IOP, however, the groups are set up in 90-minute increments due to the attention span needs. The groups also meet four times a week instead of three in Phase 1. We also include parenting groups which have the expectation that at least one parent will attend weekly during Phase 1.
