The Phoenix Recovery
Center (Christian County Detention Center) and Get a Life (Hopkins County Jail) are programs offered to qualified felony offenders charged with a
substance abuse related crime. The programs are offered in connection with
the Department of Corrections. The programs are 6-months in length with the program participants segregated
from the general jail population during that time. The programs offer substance
abuse programming at the Residential Level for these offenders and have proven to be extremely successful in reducing the recidivism rate amoung program participants.
