Psychological Evaluations

Psychological evaluations typically involve the use of testing measures to assist in understanding individuals, making diagnosis, revealing strengths and weaknesses, and formulating recommendations. A psychological test is essentially an objective and standardized measure of a sample of behavior.
Psychological tests are used to determine a person's intellectual capabilities (IQ), personality characteristics, vocational interests, and can reveal problems such as depression, anxiety, or psychosis.
Testing is also used as an adjunct method in assessing attention deficit disorders, learning disabilities, neurological problems (e.g. Alzheimer's Disease), schizophrenia, and personality disorders.
